Attention Kickballers!

Hey everyone,

I hope you are all getting excited about the kickball league. We have officially registered the team and have a shocking 27 people signed up so far! The formal roster has not been submitted yet, so if you are still interested, just send an email to and you will be added to the list (as of right now, I'm not aware of any size limit for the team). The league starts in the middle of May, so I will post new info as the time approaches.

For those who already signed up...I need you to email me the following information:

1) Full name

2) Email address (if you're including more than one person in the email, please list everyone's)

The cost of the team at this point is $30 per person. We have not been able to aquire a sponsor to this point, but if anyone has any leads, please pursue them and let me know as soon as possible.

Take me out to the ballgame...

Alright all you young adults who are taking the title of "young" for all it's worth, we have officially signed up for kickball league with the Oak Park Park District. The games are played at Ridgeland Common Park (times to be announced). We are looking into getting t-shirts made for the team and need to come up with a team name. Any ideas?? The total cost of the team and t-shirts should be around $30, but we'll post the final amount as soon as we know.

Remember, post a reply if you've got a great team name idea!!!

Summer Sports Leagues!

Anyone interested in playing some summer sports? The SEYA group has discussed putting together a softball team, a kickball team, or a soccer team. There are many different organizations that run these types of programs, including the Park District of Oak Park. If you have an itch to get out and play this summer, please respond to this blog and let us know what sport(s) you would be interested in participating. Who knows, maybe we'll have enough interest for a team in every sport!

Can you come out and play!?!
